Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how The Rodriguez Law Office (“we,” “us,” or “the firm”), located at 690 E Davidson St, Bartow, FL 33830, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this website or contact us. We keep this simple and honest: we collect only what we need to respond to you and to run the website, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Information you send us

If you use our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address (optional), and the message you write. This information is stored securely on our website system and delivered to the firm so we can respond to your inquiry. If you call our office, our phones are answered 24/7 by a receptionist who takes your name, contact information, and basic information about your case so the attorney is up to speed, and transfers your call to the attorney when he is available — otherwise he returns your call or text.

Important: contacting us through this website or by phone does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not include confidential or time-sensitive details about your case in a website message. Information you submit before an attorney-client relationship is established may not be protected by attorney-client privilege, although we treat all inquiries as confidential as a matter of office practice.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider (WP Engine) and security/content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) automatically log basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting, and keeping the site running — not for advertising. This site does not use advertising trackers, social media pixels, or third-party analytics that build profiles of you. The fonts on this site may be loaded from Google Fonts, in which case Google’s servers receive your IP address when a page loads — Google does not receive your name, your messages, or anything you type.

This website offers a live chat feature provided by ChatSupport (chatsupport.co). If you start a chat, the messages and any contact information you choose to share are transmitted to and processed by ChatSupport’s servers so we can operate the chat and respond to you. The chat tool loads only when you interact with the page or open the chat. Please do not share confidential details about your case through chat, and remember that contacting us through chat does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.

Some pages on this site embed videos from YouTube (a service of Google). When a page containing an embedded video loads, YouTube and Google may receive your IP address and basic information about your visit so the video can play; they do not receive your name, your messages, or anything you type. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (“no-cookie”) embed mode to limit the information shared.

Cookies

This site uses only the minimal cookies needed to function — for example, a security cookie set by Cloudflare to protect the site from automated abuse. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any content on this site, though some automated security checks may not work with all cookies blocked. This site also links to other websites — such as our profiles on Avvo, Justia, or social media — and this policy does not cover those sites.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule consultations
  • To represent you, if you become a client
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website
  • To comply with legal and professional-responsibility obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (website hosting and security/content delivery, font hosting, and the receptionist who answers our phones), and only as needed for them to do their jobs, or where required by law.

How long we keep information

Contact-form submissions are retained as business records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, check for conflicts of interest, and meet our professional obligations. Client files are governed by The Florida Bar’s record-retention rules, which are separate from this website policy.

Your choices and rights

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about your website inquiry, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it (we may need to retain certain records to meet legal or professional obligations). To make a request, call (863) 774-4556 or use the contact form.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Inquiries about a minor’s case should come from a parent or guardian.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No website can guarantee perfect security, which is one more reason not to send sensitive case details through the form — call us instead.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted prominently here.
